Technological Upgrade for the Cavite Farmers

During their recent camping trip, students had the unique opportunity to visit the Municipal Department of Agriculture in Amadeo, Cavite. This educational excursion gave them a firsthand experience of farm life and an overview of agricultural processes. The students were shown different farming techniques, including planting, harvesting, and livestock care. They also learned about sustainable agriculture and the importance of taking care of the environment. Through this field trip, the students gained insight into the hard work and effort that goes into agriculture and came away with a newfound appreciation for farmers and their contributions to society.

Ms. Elsa Honrada (left) shared that technology in farming, especially in Amadeo, Cavite, has been evolving to improve the lives of farmers. She informed students about the latest advancements that make farming more efficient and productive. These developments empower farmers to use better equipment and methods to cultivate crops and provide better yields. Ms. Elsa's presentation highlighted the important role of technology in agriculture and how it can help enhance the livelihoods of farmers.

The campers have been given the rare opportunity to touch and interact with the farming machines.
