Brightways Academy Adapts to the “New Normal”

In the Philippines, the 1st positive COVID 19 case was announced by the end of January. Most people were not alarmed, not until the first local transmission was reported on the 7th of March. Classes in the Philippines are suspended to protect our children from the deadly virus. Most schools, including Brightways Academy, were on their last quarter when the suspension was announced. As soon as the Department of Education announced that Private Schools may use DepEd Commons, most of the students have participated with the facilitation of the teachers. This initiative of the Academy helped the students continue their learning at home.

As the confirmed cases of COVID 19 continue to rise, the management believed that this will be a long term pandemic, thus the Academy has started to formulate its Learning Continuity Plan following the guidelines under DepEd Order No. 007 S. 2020. We are considering the welfare of both students and teachers.
